Janellen is founder and director of The Voice Studio of Valley Forge, established in 1988. The Studio is a thriving force in the arts community of the Upper Main Line area. Her students are routinely cast in leading roles in local schools and community and semi-professional theater productions. Her professional students perform in concerts, cabarets, and churches, singing all genres with a healthy, holistic technique. She has also worked with patients of various laryngologists doing voice rehabilitation and has had great success in working with students with pitch difficulty. Her high school aged students have gained admission to the voice performance and musical theater programs at colleges and universities, including Yale, Temple University and Westminster Choir College.  

After decades of success focusing on voice, The Studio will be expanding to include both a dance and children's program headed by Janellen's daughter, Sarah Vogan. Sarah is a professional dancer, choreogrpaher, and teacher, who has been developing her own name and reputation in the greater Philadelphia area since 2007. Over the years, several of Sarah's private students have performed in musicals at America's oldest theater, the Walnut Street Theater.  

Janellen and Sarah have collaborated several times over the years, offering a musical theater camp as well as audition preparation for students of The Studio. Janellen and Sarah share a passion for performing and wish to send their students out into the professional world fully prepared to achieve success. They are excited to finally make their partnership official.
